The order requires all Ohioans to stay home or “shelter in place,” with a few exceptions: The order allows people to leave their homes for “essential activities” like going to the grocery, seeking medical services, or seeking any supplies or services deemed “essential,” outdoor activity like walks, and going to work.
For businesses that are considered “essential” and allowed to remain open, DeWine has mandated that social distancing and a six-foot distance between each employee be enforced. In addition, employers must supply hand sanitizer and sanitizing products for both employees and customers. Businesses allowed to remain open must also provide separate hours of operation for vulnerable populations.
Per the Department of Homeland Security, those of us in healthcare services “have a special responsibility to maintain” our normal work schedule in the most responsible way.
Therefore, beginning today, Serenity will comply with the Governor’s order and WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE SERVICES VIA TELEHEALTH ONLY UNTIL APRIL 6th. It’s a real bummer, but in order to provide the safest possible services, we felt it was in the best interest of everyone to modify our services in this way for now.
Your scheduled appointments will be automatically changed to a TELEHEALTH SESSION by our fabulous Practice Manager, Shendy Miller. She will send a link that you will click on to join your scheduled session.
Additionally, I will be adding and changing hours to better accommodate our clients beginning April 1, 2020 as follows:
Sunday – Closed
Monday – Closed
Tuesday – 9 to 6
Wednesday – 9 to 6
Thursday – 9 to 6
Friday – Closed
Saturday – 8 to 3
